1. Purpose of MWB
Make We Build connects people, ideas, skills, opportunities and practical projects in Ghana. MWB provides a platform for exploration, submissions, moderation and coordination. It does not promise that a proposal will receive funding, employment, customers or implementation.
2. Member accounts
Members must provide information that is accurate enough to operate their account, keep login credentials confidential and use only their own account. Membership is restricted to people aged 18 years or older, and new members must truthfully confirm this when registering. Public MWB content remains accessible without creating a member account.
MWB may review an account if credible information indicates that the membership eligibility requirement may not be met. Any action affecting an existing account requires appropriate review and is not described as an automatic outcome.
3. Ideas and original content
Members retain the rights they legally hold in their original content and contributions. Submitting an idea does not automatically transfer intellectual-property ownership to MWB or Merimei Studio.
By submitting content, a member gives Merimei Studio, as the operator of MWB, a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, review, moderate and display that content for MWB's intended community and project purposes. Public idea pages use the label MWB Builder rather than the creator's full name. Separate commercial licensing or rights transfers require an appropriate agreement where applicable.
Members should not submit content they do not have the right to use or content containing unnecessary private information.
Requests to delete an account and requests concerning the continued publication of existing ideas or project content require separate review. Any decision must consider the original creator's rights, other participants' interests and applicable legal requirements; MWB does not claim that all submitted content must always be retained or automatically deleted.
4. Community participation
Members may express interest in ideas and participate in permitted community activities. Account-linked responses help MWB understand interest and coordinate follow-up. Participation does not create an employment, partnership, agency or funding relationship by itself.
5. Projects and project requests
Members may request to join projects. Requests are reviewed and may be approved, declined or withdrawn. Project participation is subject to the relevant project arrangements and does not guarantee payment or a particular outcome.
Project updates may be reviewed before publication. Approval means publication review, not independent verification of every statement or result.
6. Opportunities
Opportunities may describe paid work, contracts, apprenticeships or other practical activity. Any employment, service, payment or commercial relationship must be agreed separately with the relevant parties. MWB does not create payment obligations through an opportunity listing alone.
7. Business and partner enquiries
Business briefs and partnership enquiries are submitted for private review. A submission does not guarantee a response, engagement, team formation, contract or project launch. Merimei Studio may offer separately agreed services such as project coordination, professional connections, coordination of project teams or related business support. Any fees, responsibilities, deliverables, commercial licensing or other commercial arrangement require a separate agreement between the relevant parties. MWB does not currently process payments or provide escrow through the platform.
8. WhatsApp communication
Indicating WhatsApp availability does not automatically add a member to a group. Any WhatsApp communication or group participation is separate and may make a telephone number visible to other participants.
9. Prohibited conduct
Users must not misuse the platform, submit unlawful or deceptive material, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with platform operation, abuse contact information, publish unnecessary personal data or use MWB for harassment, fraud or spam.
MWB may review, reject, hide, restrict or remove content when reasonably necessary under these Terms or applicable law. Account restrictions are subject to appropriate review and are not automatic merely because content is reported or questioned.
10. Availability and responsibility
MWB may change, suspend or discontinue features, especially during development and review. The platform is provided as a coordination tool and does not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy of user submissions, funding, employment, project implementation or economic outcomes.
Participation does not guarantee work, funding, financial returns or a particular project result. Platform membership does not automatically establish employment, partnership, agency or another commercial relationship. Independent commercial relationships require their own agreements. Merimei Studio remains responsible for its own applicable legal obligations, and nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory legal rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users remain responsible for their submissions, decisions and separate relationships with other users, businesses and partners.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is also a local pre-launch draft and is not legal approval.
12. Age and minors
Membership is restricted to people aged 18 years or older. New members must truthfully confirm, separately from the Terms agreement, "I confirm that I am at least 18 years old." MWB stores the timestamp of that declaration, not a date of birth or identity-document reference, and the timestamp does not independently verify actual age.
Public content remains accessible without member registration. If credible information indicates that an account may not meet the minimum age requirement, MWB may review the account and take an appropriate action under these Terms and applicable law. No action affecting an existing account is automatic, and the application does not claim an automated age-verification system.
13. Governing law
These draft terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Ghana, subject to final legal review and any mandatory legal requirements.
